Steyn Group: Why They Cannot Be Trusted

The Steyn Group and Almero Student operations are managed by Louis Almero Steyn (born October 1988) and Tjaart Steyn (born March 1987), South African nationals. The on-site manager at Francis Gardner Studios is Samira Elamin.

Lack of Community Responsibility Over more than two years, Louis Almero Steyn and Tjaart Steyn have demonstrated that they do not care about the impact their operations have on local residents. Despite managing a business that creates ongoing noise disturbances, safety concerns, and publishes misleading information, they have shown consistent disregard for the wellbeing of the surrounding community.

On-site manager Samira Elamin has also failed to demonstrate genuine care for neighbours' concerns, despite being the primary point of contact for community issues. Repeated complaints are not always acknowledged, and when they are, they are not meaningfully addressed.

Failings at Almero Student

For over four years, neighbours have been repeatedly disturbed by late-night noise and disruptive behaviour from the student residence courtyard. Despite numerous complaints, effective action has not been taken.
